I wanted to create this page so that some of my favorite "Disturbing Items" can be viewed again and again long after the auctions have ended. I am including the sellers' comments as they appeared complete with spelling errors and typos. I am going to try to include all the original commentary that appeared on DAdaily with each one to make sure everyone gets their props (also because often the comments are funnier than the item). On a few that I have I didn't manage to save the commentary so if you recognize one that you originally submitted please email me so I can add your name! Enjoy.

Seller's comments: I have never EVER seen a doll like this in my life. I'm not saying they aren't out there because I know there are other Anne Klocko Dolls floating around but THIS one is totally unique to me. She is from the soft sculpture "Squeeky Cheeks" line created by Anne Klocko in 1983 and distributed by Dakin. She has that funky Cabbage Patch Kid type scrunchy face. That "lost my dentures" type face that isn't exactly cute... but attractive in an odd way...She holds a pot of gold in one hand with a rainbow falling into it...

Seller's comments: Novelty ashtray that features a sprite with a metallic gold butterfly on his forehead. He or she has rosy cheeks - red lips and eyes of green. This type of tobacciana collectible is called an image or smoker ashtray because when a lit cigarette is placed on the lip - the smoke travels up behind the face and comes out of holes in the pointy ears & beside the tufts of hair sticking out from his elfin hat. Seller's comments:What a zany gift idea, a stuffed alligator in a victorian dress! I have learned that little stuffed alligators like this one were sold as souveniers in the 50's. It is in great condition, only the tip of the tail and the hands seem to be gone(I think the hands are normal).Even all the clothing seems to be intact, even the little gathering basket! Whoever dreamt this one up had a sense of humor.

Most people who viewed this auction were more disturbed by the pic of the cat that was also on the page. They named him Kojak Kitty.

Seller's comments:This is a charming little doll. There is no marks so I can't identify her.
This lovely little doll has seen better days but really isn't as bad as she first looks. She is composition with a sawdust filled body. She has sleep eyes and composition hands. Her arms and legs are jointed. She has formed hair and a human hair wig.
This delightful doll has only one really big problem. Her neck is cracked all the way across in the front. She won't fall apart because the fabric body is holding it all together very well. The stitching is solid, no sawdust is gone, the joints are strong and move freely, her hands and fingers are all there, the feet are fabric and are great. One sleep eye won't open. The eyes, I belive are painted tim. There is no clouding of the eye. She is crazed and her human hair wig is most frightening! I think most of this could be fixed if you have a mind to but I like her just the way she is! I love the shabby chick look of her chippy paint. She is charming and has been well loved but not really abused. She was stored in 3 old quilts obviously made by the little girl who owned her. The girl was born in 1907 so you can guess that she is around 1910-1915.
